Job Summary
The Supply Chain analyst will be responsible for data processing for inbound purchased finished goods and in-transit inventory along with maintaining purchase order receipts & reconciliation, import container processing in our ERP/database, assist/support the buyers/planners in PO discrepancies and working with logistics import container customs clearance. The successful candidate must be flexible and multi-task oriented with strong attention to detail and will work out of our Delaware/ Rickenbacker location

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data processing import containers, PO receipts, in-transit inventory tracking
  • Ensure accuracy with supplier shipment – PO match. Analyze and minimize supplier discrepancies
  • Manage import container database – process new PO receipts into in-transit inventory. Track containers and update ETA based on tracing system.
  • Enters Freight & Customs invoices on daily basis. Acts as intermediary between supplier and customs/logistics in sharing documents and ensuring smooth process of inbound freight to delivery location.
  • Acts proactively to minimize & prevent freight bottlenecks due to payment status
  • Maintains Supplier backorder (trouble) reports – updates ERP system, communicates discrepancies to buyer/planners
  • Provides timely communication to internal team – Procurement, Customer Care, Sales, Logistics, Accounting
  • Maintains centralized procurement email account – invoices, shipping documents, container notifications
  • Implements and drives efficiency, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment interacting with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics and customs brokers
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

Education: BA or BS in Supply Chain or Business is preferred

Experience: Min 1 yrs business, analysis, and critical thinking experience ;MS Excel Analysis experience Supply Chain Experience ;Experience in Packaging Industry; Excellent quantitative skills and technical aptitude ;Microsoft Office experience with proficiency with Excel, Access, Word & Outlook Advanced; MS Excel & Access preferred
